Injury-proofing your business is your number one priority.
We work with you to develop prevention programs unique to you, which educate, prevent and support your people. After all, the old adage ‘prevention is better than cure’ is never more applicable than in the workplace.
From work place risk assessments and warehouse walkabouts to job analyses, manual handling training and work station assessments, we provide a range of risk prevention services to reduce and eliminate the incidence of injury in the workplace.
Benefits to you include a boost in staff productivity by keeping staff pain free and working at optimum levels, increased team morale and reduced sick days.
At Injury Prevention Plus, we understand that a healthy and happy workplace results in reduced time off work, improved employee job satisfaction and improved workplace outcomes.
Our experienced practitioners can assist with the prevention and treatment of conditions and complaints of the following nature:
- Post surgical
- General health problems
- Chronic diseases
We work to understand your team member’s history, critical pain points and risks to provide them with a bespoke treatment plan which empowers and energises them.
Warm Up 4 Work
Warm Up 4 Work is designed to encourage your workforce to undertake a daily workplace stretching routine for their job role to prevent injury in the workplace.
Delivered by enthusiastic physiotherapists and exercise physiologists, the sessions include a short cardiovascular warm-up, some isolated stretches, functionally oriented warm up tasks followed by individual requirements.
Team leaders are coached to deliver the program on an ongoing basis. A short DVD for long term reference and/or use in remote sites is included and other resources such as posters and promotional material can be customised and delivered as required.
We are known for delivering efficient, productive and energetic sessions to get teams warmed up for work.
Training & Education
Creating a cultural change that sticks requires change to be embedded and this can only be done by ensuring your staff are trained.
The Injury Plus Prevention team regularly engage and present to specific groups of individuals in each work zone on-site to educate them about the most common injuries applicable to their work area and how to best avoid them.
Injury prevention training and coaching is customised to the client and can include topics such as core stability, flexibility, musculoskeletal injury prevention, manual task training and coaching (including an accredited unit) and ergonomics training and education.
This training, which includes both formal theory and practical hands on elements, aims to create improved body awareness for each employee and prevent injuries from occurring in the long term.
