Would you like your people to feel empowered, energised and fit for work? In today’s fast paced and stressful world it is easy to live a lifestyle that is counterproductive, and even detrimental, to our health.
The nature of occupational illnesses is changing. Health conditions like stress, fatigue and the normal results of ageing, such as reduced physical capacity, present different challenges from the traditional health issues. Happy, fit and healthy workers are productive workers.
Injury Prevention Plus’ corporate health and wellness programs are designed to educate and equip employees to live a lifestyle that is healthy and sustainable.
What this means for you is happier, healthier and more productive employees, an ability to pick up on early warning signs for employees that have a health risk and a workforce with more energy and mental alertness.

Fitness For Work
The term “fitness for work” means that a person is in a physical and psychological state, which enables them to perform their work tasks competently and in a manner that does not threaten their safety, health or wellbeing nor that of others.
The status of a workers’ health will influence their productivity, absenteeism, suitability for equipment operation and ability to do their job well on a day-to-day basis.
A Fitness for Work assessment is designed to assist employers with assessing an employee’s psychological and physical fitness for their role. It incorporates factors such as: previous injury, stress and mental health, physical fitness, willingness to work, medications and past time off from work.
As part of the assessment, recommendations for interventions or restrictions may be made to enable the individual to carry out their job safely. The assessment can also ensure that an individual’s job does not aggravate any pre-existing disease or injury.
Fit 4 Work can be delivered as part of a company's induction process or as a stand-alone activity. Once completed, employers and individuals will have the knowledge and the tools to better manage their workplace fitness.
