JDRF is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research.
Injury Prevention Plus’ Head of Exercise Physiology Anthony Walter is an active member of the JDRF Western Australia State Leadership Group. As a participant and Life Member of the JDRF 'Ride to Cure Diabetes', Anthony has fundraised over $150,000 for JDRF since 2004. Injury Prevention Plus is proud to have supported the JDRF Gala Ball at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Huntington’s WA
HWA was formed specifically to improve the quality of life for people with Huntington's Disease, their families and carers in Western Australia.
Anthony volunteered for 12 months to implement exercise rehabilitation programs in the community for people suffering from neuromuscular disease.
Youth Focus
Youth Focus is an independent West Australian not-for-profit working to raise awareness of youth suicide, depression and self harm.
Anthony was ambassador for the Hawaiian Ride for Youth and participated in the 700km ride from Albany to Perth.

WA Police Legacy is the joint initiative of the Western Australian Police Union of Workers and the Western Australia Police.

Professional/clinical supervision of Exercise Science students: Injury Prevention Plus supports graduates of Exercise Rehabilitation to achieve their university requirements. Once they graduate, Injury Prevention Plus staff often remain involved by acting as mentors.
